Please familiarise yourself with these rules.
-
Only official participants displaying their race bands are allowed on the route. Race numbers must be collected at pre-race sign in on the day of the race.
-
Trail Courtesy: Keep left, pass right, and watch for blind spots.
-
Leaving the Race: Should you need to withdraw from the race due to reaching your limit, kindly notify the nearest race official. This procedure ensures that your status is accurately recorded and prevents any misunderstanding regarding your whereabouts.
-
Should a participant need to leave the designated route for any reason, they are required to place their running pack on the route for safety purposes (to indicate departure) and must return to the point of departure by foot.
-
Any participant deliberately running off the route will be disqualified.
-
This event is a foot race, and the entire route must be traversed by foot.
-
Water will not be handed out in sachets.
-
The route will be clearly marked with ribbon and reflective markers that will be clearly visible at night.
-
Intersections will be clearly marked with directional markers to indicate which way to go in the colour of your race band.
-
Participants who require the use of a mechanical device due to a disability are requested to inform the race organizers and obtain prior approval.
-
Tracking poles may be used.
-
No assistance may be accepted by any participant between Aid stations, except in an emergency.
-
If any emergency assistance is received between Aid stations, this must be brought to the attention of the Aid station Captain at the next Aid station.
-
Each participant must ensure that he/she has been checked in at each Aid station. Failure to check yourself in at the Aid stations will result in disqualification – even if you complete the course. This is a safety requirement and is non-negotiable.
-
Any littering or destruction of the natural habitat will lead to disqualification. Participants must refrain from discarding any items, including food wrappers, fruit peels, and wet wipes, between Aid stations. All waste should be retained and disposed of at the next Aid station in the designated bins.
